Place: Göteborg (Gothenburg), Mässans gata;
Name of the project: 'Gothia Triple Towers';
Architect/Constructor: 'PEAB AB';
Purpose: one of the five largest hotel complexes in Europe;
Internals: near one of the busiest streets of Gothenburg a large hotel complex is being built; the wil cover 330.000 sq. m. of area and will be formed of the three towers (two of which already exist): 'Gothia East (Tower)' (80 m, 21 fl. -> (after a few floors will be added) 82 m., 26 fl.), 'Gothia West (Tower)' (63 m., 18 fl. -> 77 m., 24 fl.) which have been built in 1984 and 2001 respectivelly (these two buildings will be renovated and the extra floors will be added until 2013) and a new tower, which will be 100 m. high and will have 30 floors will be built and linked to other towers by the year 2014/15; there will be 1200 rooms, 4 conference halls, 3 panoramic restaurants and 5 new restaurants in the entire complex; all the buildings will be environment-friendly;
Status: (soon) under construction;
Price: 800 mln. SEK;
Begining of contruction: 2011 september;
End of construction: 2014/15;

The status may be changed to approved, then. The information i read in the article was not detailed and i missunderstood that the construction work may be started this month. Sorry and thank you for chaning the title. :)

A reconstruction of the towers 'Gothia West' ir 'Gothia East' has been started:

Peab har börgat bygga ny entre till svenska mässan/ gothia trippel towers, vid byggplattsen står det att de börgar bygga på tredje tornet 22-25 sep. Men jag antar att de i praktiken inebär att det börgar med påbyggnaden av crowntower, för tredje tornet som jag förstog det blir ettap 2?

The third tower is approved, but the construction of it will be started after the extantion off the lowest tower is finnished.
