Could someone provide me with a picture taken in the middle of a street (flanked by tall buildings) at eye height looking towards the horizon..?

Thanks in advance :)

I see it from 23rd looking North, not bad, but it's tough with the trees in the way!

^nice pics!
there is an interesting sight, from the 11th avenue looking south, around 40th street, you can see the mini-2IFC in NJ looking as if it's in Manhattan, it's a pretty weird sight

It looks nice, a little bit dark because of highrises, but still very beautiful if you ask me.

Isn`t 42nd street shopping street?

well it's everything.
On 1st ave there's the UN
on Lex. there's the Chrysler
On Park there's Grand Central
on 5th there's the Library
On 7th it's part of Times Square
on 9th there's the Bus station, or was it 34th :?
and I think there's the Fedex central station around 11th,
and the Intrepid is around 48th street on the Hudson.
Anyway, 42nd street is Times Square, it's Grand Central, it's the UN, it's a whole world!

What you mean?

I didn't take any of the pics in this thread from Emporis, the two I posted I took.

Of course I'll mention it's from Emporis and you when I use one of your pictures, but I think it's a misunderstanding here.

you're at SS?
what happened to it, to me it's pretty much dead now that it's emporis
anyway, does the site get any money from companies, I've always wondered, who'll pay for that info?
anyway, who's in charge of the Bulgarian section, it needs to be updated, not to talk about the french one...

It's alright, no problem. It is a similar shot!

When I took mine it was around 5 PM or so and the sun was on the Westside by then, next time anyone goes to take a Tudor City shot like that, take it in the morning!

Well, the afternoon shot make the town look nice and creepy from that angle. Like Gotham or something.
