Went recently to the site. Was awed by the number of tower cranes which were installed. Almost 20 to 25 cranes. Actually the project is much bigger in scale and size than GIFT, though not as grand.

wow, and wow! How many tower cranes can you count! That's the way to go!

As far as I could see (and I could see only a part of the township, there's more construction behind, this is just the front line), there were more than 25 tower cranes. This site could have more cranes than the whole of Ahmedabad combined...

This is beyond good. Growing up in Gandhinagar I observed Sachivalay and Vidhansabha construction without crane. I used to read and see pictures of construction technology in print editions (!) of encyclopedia at Sector 17 state library next to helipad.

Much of Sachivalay and Vidhansabha complex was under construction during 80s. One of the friends' relative worked for PWD and frequently arranged 'tours' of civil projects. We were lucky, we got the inside story of capital under construction.

they have not started work on H/Q,THE latest news is that H/Q will not look like the white house,instead they r building a 20 storey bldg.the good news is H/Q is still in the project.

This will be prob the last project of Adani Group, they have quit real estate and will not be returning. They will complete Shantigram (I hope so) and bow out...

Nope, ADANI has already launched affordable house, 'PRATHAM' Project behind the Nirma university just before 2-3 months...

According to me 20+ Storey building will be the good idea instead of white house structure. It will save lots of space. and if they can manage to get permission of 30 story then it will be superb corporate house building.

No, its a private road...and a pretty good one at that coz it's a little elevated and has good pavements on either side, 6 lanes etc...

Why is this forum so dead ,hoping u guys will bring some live into this,looks like shantigram is coming out better than godrej garden city,or may be time may speak ,as per my view shantigram looks more promising.

Well, projects like these can be updated max once or twice a month,so it seems dull.
