well it is surrounded by mountains, the most prominent of which is mt. Vitosha at 2290m.
anyway, the city is good, it has somewhat of a skyline, luckily there's he cathedral, but it gets only a 5,5 from me.

Sofia doesn't have much of a skyline, only Alexander Nevski really stands out but the city centre is nice in places at street level and a very nice setting.

^I agree there isn't much of a skyline, but the cathedral is around 50m tall, and there are still 8 buildings over 70m, while the tallest is Hotel Rodina at 104m.

Sofia is a wonderful city, but I don't see much of a skyline. I do however see some high-rises, and the only thing that needs to happen now is some density. I say in 5-10 years, Sofia will have a really cool skyline as long as construction happens! :)

Hardly any talls, but some nice density. I give it a 5/10.

Personally I dont find the setting just amazing. Kinda generic. But the skyline is better than i expected, and its a beautiful city nonetheless. :) For looks I give it a 5/10 for its skyline...............6/10.
