^^ The project uses a very efficient rectangular floor plate which maximizes land use resulting in a large floor area per floor but that would mean they'd quickly max out their allowable GFA even before reaching soaring heights.

Notice how the neighboring buildings have a similar height? Baka todo na 'yan, they may have probably used up their maximum GFA (FAR multiplied by the lot area) kaya hindi na pwede pang dagdagan ng additional floors.

another anchor tenant for the W tower is the ALVEO showroom for High Street South, atop the Lamborghini showroom.

^^ That is a different building. You are talking about the low-rise "W Office" building and not the "W Fifth Avenue" tower of this thread. They are both from the same developer, though.

They are using the lot for "The Waltz" as a staging area. Yes, that supposedly "iconic building" (by Hart & Haring Bautrager GmbH, an Austrian developer) which seems like it will never be built, but I am still hoping that it's only still "on-hold"...

...could have been a perfect neighbor to W Fifth Avenue

If it gets to be built, definitely will be the most iconic and probably will become the most photographed building in the philippines. Everyone will be going there and take their pic and post it in FB. :lol:

by 2014 ata nakaconsign ang the waltz sa taguig, 10-15 buildings lang kasi per year pinapayagan ng taguig city givernment, in 25 years tapos na ang 300+ buildings sa fort bonifacio plan

the waltz has always been my favorite. their website (http://www.the-waltz.com/thewaltz.php) is still active so im still keeping my fingers crossed.:)
