the first pic shows a nice greenery but a very white skyline. the new set of pics shows nicer caracas pics though. yea. i'm impressed by the density though only a few of the scrapers stand out. the skyline is ok and the mountain on the background looks perfect. 7/10

great pictures, i mean excellent.

But Caracas deserves no more than 4/10. I know you will hate me but the cerros full of ranchos is not very pleasant and the few midrise buildings and the 2 high rise aren't impressive. They look like too 70s, too much concrete don't you think? Yes there are some beautiful buildings there, but they're low rise buildings. Anyway, what makes Caracas attractive is not the buildings but the surroundings. It's weather is world's best, always spring, cool nights. Oh, and the night life is great too, but always have to be neuroticly paranoid about :guns1: thieves :guns1: kidnappers:guns1: rapists:guns1: gangs:guns1: It's kind of dangerous, but if you stay in safe places and live neuroticly paranoid you will enjoy a great city.

I believe that Bogota, like Caracas, also has the same temperatures year round. It just happens to be cold in Bogota due to the mountains. And yes, Santiago can get rather warm in the summer.

On the positive side, the city is quite nice at night, and is surrounded by some nice scenery (mountains, greenery, etc). It also has some nice road/motorway layouts cutting through the centre.

Great natural beuty, nice edense skyline, but not as good as other south american cities. (they all look aot the same) The only two beuldings that stand out are the 2 taller black ones.

8/10- i know this city almost as much as Bogota (because my dad's venezuelan). anyway, it's a great city and i might visit it next year. sad that there are very few pics from the mountains. why is that??? are they inaccessable??? at least most of them aren't from the mountains like Bogota.

I like it that its near the Mountains. kinda have that Exotic Feeling. the city is like the city in J-lo Video Clip "waiting for Tonight"(sorry I sound kinda Crappy). Anyways I give it a Firm 10/10 :colgate:

Muy lindo Caracas, mis edificios favoritos son las torres del parque central, hasta el 2003 fueron las más altas de América-latina e icóno de la arquitectura en Venezuela; además se ven edificios de arquitectura moderna y buenos distribuidores vehículares, espero pronto estar allá.

En lo personal me gusta más el skyline de Panamá que a mi ver es el mejor de Latinoamerica, pero Venezuela más que bien.

Anyway, It's one of my favorite cities ever. The natural environment is simply amazing. It's true there are tons of constructions favela-alike but they're really interesting from the urbanistic point of view. It may not be huge as a skyline but I have to repeat it, Caracas is a really interesting place.

Caracas had this same skyline in the 50's-70's, for that time was Awesome, now very outdated, but still being colorful, mixed and chaotic...its own character. Caracas = Old Fashioned Chaos, this make the city interesting :yes:
