WOW, that's certainly something different for the GC. Is this going on the site where Meriton was planning the 50-storey job? They are both on Ferny Ave so I'm jsut thinking they may have canned the big one.

By the way, I reckon Harry's pretty pissed off with the NSW exit tax so I'd say we'll be seeing an intensification of Meriton development on the GC.

The tower has an excellent art deco-ish Miami Beach feel to it I think!

I looked on a map and saw that Concorde is 42 Ferny Ave, while Australis Sovereign, which is further north up the street is 138 Ferny Ave. Since the 50-storey Meriton proposal is south of Concorde, and this address is 70 Ferny then it is further north than the 50-storey proposal and completely different. I expect Meriton will sit on their hands for a little while with the 50-storey proposal but it will happen eventually I'm sure. :)

This 50 storey tower is being built where? surely it cannot be chevron island, if its being built on ferny ave, and I cannot think of any possible sites along ferny ave south of concorde, unless they knock down a highrise. I have not heard of any 50 storey planned by meriton!

this proposal (Solaire) is 20storeys. the one finn is pointing at on map is Meritons other proposal on Ferny Ave which will be 50storeys!

so they're plonking right on the park, doesnt sound very realistic. I'd prefer if this 50 storey monster didnt go right there, I prefer to have that green space behind ConC. SOLAIRE on the other hand is one stunning proposal.

drove past today they have put up signs to show what is going there. plus a photo of the units .one of meritons better designs .

Wow, I missed this one a few weeks back. I love these boutique developments. With all the talls going up in central surfers it's great to see smaller quality developments filling gaps and ensuring we don't start to form canyons.

I'd love to see more unique developments like this appear around Broadbeach and Burleigh. Classy designs, not to tall, but giving a cosmopolitan feel to the place.

Noticed that they've updated the colour scheme on this one and done away with the open space halfway up the building! Looks really good I think.

OK. I've figured out where it is. It's on the Budds Beach side of the Cypruss Ave Carpark.

i suppose it must be hard for some of the GC members to venture out and take pix. im always happy with any photo. we will eventually get a pic when its worth takking.

harry triguboff will offically launch on wednesday solaire and the new stages of brighton on broadwater.-he is busy on the gold coast now more to come i think

^ Yeah, I read the same in the bulletin on the weekend. Don't know what else Harry's got up his sleeve but I would imagine his Brighton on Broadwater and this one would keep him busy for the next couple of years. Maybe the Pegasus site at broadbeach in 2 or 3 years, and I don't know what after that.

Design is interesting, wished it was double height:P

I don't envy the people buying any apartment in this complex. Those little views are going to be built completley. Theres a few massive sites directly in front - mainly carparks.

Opps missed one! I think this is now finished apart from painting and ground works given the final floors had been poured on the 13th. I guess its bye-bye to this one in the diagrams now Cul?

I must admit I didnt think much of this one when I first saw it on here but having driven past the other day it is a really nice tower!!!

this is the building the cleaner fell from yesterday ---------from about the 10th floor
the second meriton building in a week------- so far the fellow is still going ok -- he is in his 20s
