Hello friends, this is my first message in this forum, though I have been a visitor to the Skyscraper city site for a few months.

I am very keen to see developments in India, specially the GQ, metros and buildings. It is interesting to see some other threads, specially the ones on KL, Singapore etc, which are close to India. I have visited these places in the 90s and it is amazing and thrilling to see how fast KL has developed. Kudos to Mr. Mahathir and his team. I hope India can also do this at a fast rate. As it stands, we are lagging far back, though the govts seem to be realizing the need to develop infrastructure now... better late than never.

The threads on buildings, metros, highways etc are very interesting and the participation is good. The photos are really awesome, specially the nature shots and those amazing panoromic views. Can't figure out how these are achieved...

Keep up the good work guys.

Lives up to it's name, India is incredible :) Full of history, marvellous architecture and some of the friendliest people in the world. I would like to go to Goa one day. I've only been to Madras, Mumbai and Kolkota.

They have the finest Indian architecture, good beaches and water bodies, the famous Chilka bird sanctuary, beautiful adivasi culture, the historical cities of Konark and Puri, the ruins of the ancient university of Ratnagiri, and they are getting billions of dollars now in investment. Bhubaneshwar is an upcoming IT city.

They can literally transform their state into the new Indian dream.
