View Full Version : Puerto Vallarta - Mexico
Antony October 9th, 2004, 06:13 AM On the Mexican Riviera surrounded by splendor of solitaire long and calm beaches and a charming Mexican style town , Puerto Vallarta is located on the center west of the Mexican Republic on the Pacific Ocean, , all with golden soft sand and many are solitaire and offer a lush vegetation making the visitor feel in a desert and secure Island, with a new and very nice skyline ;)

claroscuro October 16th, 2004, 09:37 PM Wouldn't mind going over there for a holiday.
The city looks very spread out, howcome ?
Sharp observation, De Snor. Here's how I see it:
1) Mexican seaside resorts usually develop following the coastline.
Unlike what is common in European beach towns, in the coast of Mexico five-star hotels not only must face the beach, but also should have direct access to it, with no obstacles (such as a street) in between.
2) Mexican cities in general are usually very spread out. Urban density is rather unusual in this country. Not even Mexico City is really dense (I wish it was, though).

Taller, Better April 21st, 2007, 06:43 PM I am sorry if I am biased and gave it 10/10, but once you visit PV it steals your heart entirely. Gosh, I would love to be walking down the Malecón right now!!
I can never, ever get enough of that city and have visited it about 8 times. Who
gives a damn if it does not look like the Gold Coast, or Miami with chock a block highrises? I'd take PV over those cities any day of the week!

travelbug May 25th, 2010, 11:33 PM 10/10 because it is not huge. I prefer beach resorts to have this eclectic mix of old, new, tall, short. Also with the mountains it looks great. Rather this seaside skyline than Benidorm where everything is so tall so close to the sea it looks like it is about to fall in.
