Doea anyone know anything about the professional side of cityscape rendering? I am a Graphic Designer, having graduated from University in the summer. Over the last month or two, I have produced a number of renderings and posted them on this forum and have realised I seem to have a talent for it.

I expect that rendering in the professional world would be done in the architects office, automatically by computer rendering. Or, does anyone have any information about how they are done and who by?

I think it depends. Some architecture firms have their own rendering people and others hire companies that specifically do renderings.

For example, dbox (http://www.dbox.com/) has done renderings and work for different architecture firms.

below is a link to a major architectural firm, if you dig around you may find some of what you are looking for:

I've done a few rendering contracts, but they're all thanks to people that know people. I've found that this site as well as skyscraperpage etc have been helpful if you ask around enough.
