Barclay Mowlem is constructing Hallmark's signature five star property, Grosvenor Luxury Apartments, a low-rise 7 storey boutique building consisting of 16 luxury apartments.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/danubiis/grosvnormap.jpg

Features:
Included in the contract is one level of secured basement carparking, extensive mature landscaping, pool, water features, wiring for future technology, and an external rendered and painted feature fence with decorative iron infill panels. The building's shape, with a lot of angles and curves will make it more complex to build, however the end result will provide a building with architectural presence in Toowoomba.
Cutting edge construction material such as Hebel power panels have been used for external and internal party walls between units.

working closely with client to ensure the project is brought in on/under budget; and
scheduling of the project to complete it within the minimal time to enable the client to release the apartments.

Not a real good shot but it looks to be about 6 stories. You can actually see it from downtown. So the top floor will get 360 degree views. I think you have to be like on the 9th or 10th level of cottesloe crest to achieve the same 360 degree views.

Great shots joe. You're right about cottelsoe, despite being perched on the top of the range, its got great big hoop pines around it so that you dont actually get a decent view unit several stories up.

ps. when do you think Grosvner will top out?

Now that is a really nice development for Toowoomba. Those apartments are huge, and in a really good spot in the nice end of town.

Does anyone know how much any of the apartments are going for?

Got some more pics of the construction site. Lots of fog in toowoomba today.

Be interested in finding out the floor to floor measurements. There is a 6 storey apartment on the opposite corner and grosvenor is quite a bit taller.

The pic below is of the 6 storey apartments beside grosvenor.(approx 20m)

Joe

I would say so. It looks 10 m taller that the 6 storey apartments beside it.

on the top of the post you have pic labelled big pic. From this you can see the 6 storey apartment block beside it. But the difference looks larger that the pic already.

cool , danubis. you will have to try and scan for posting.... does is say what the floor to floor height is. To me its look tall... 4m so 7x4 + plant ... so could be 32m. There is a 6 storey building beside and it looks nearly twice as tall as that.
