Schumacher wins Japanese Grand Prix:
[Sports Japan]: Tokyo, Oct 10 : Michael Schumacher on his Ferrari breezed to a sixth victory of the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka Sunday.

It was the German's 83rd career victory and his 13th out of 17 races for Ferrari this season with just Brazil remaining, Xinhua reports.

He had clinched an unprecedented seventh world title in August.

Schumacher led from pole, finishing the 53 laps 14 seconds ahead of younger brother Ralf Williams.

Britain's Jenson Button finished third ahead of his Japanese teammate Takuma Sato as BAR tightened its grip on the second place in the constructor's standings ahead of Renault.

Schumacher's victory gave constructors' champion Ferrari a record-equalling 15th win of the season. Rubens Barrichello won the last two races at Monza and Shanghai.

Brazilian Barrichello's race ended when he collided with McLaren's David Coulthard on lap 39, forcing both cars off the track.

The qualifying round on Saturday had been postponed for the first time in Formula One history and pushed back to the morning of the race after a typhoon tore through central Japan.
