Salinas together with its twin sister cities La Libertad and Santa Elena form a large urban comglomerate. The city is located on the Santa Elena peninsula, on the Guayas province. The very tip of this peninsula is the westernmost point of continental Ecuador.
Here is a small map that shows the location. Just find Guayaquil on your globe and then you can make up where Salinas is :)

coquito April 1st, 2006, 12:14 PM Salinas tiene un bonito skyline pero realmente nunca me gusto ir alla. No sé... me gustan más las playas más rusticas y pequeñas como Montañita.
Salinas has a beautiful skyline but I never really liked to go there. I typically liked the smaller and rustic beaches such as Montañita.
