WOW.They are some pretty cool,contrasting pictures of Hokaido there.I like the winter one.You can see the ice sheet up in the northern part of the island.

Hokkaido's aurora borealis. The maximum record of Hokkaido's temperature is -41C.

By the way the northern Hokkaido has the "Byakuya" - no night time throughout the day.

Masyu Lake by David Middleton and Kou Aoki, exhibited in Sapporo Beer Factory Gallery. This is the clearest lake (the water purity) in the world.
