View Full Version : #Approved: 22-35 Manning St, Milton - 19st/58.10m & 20st/65.4m Residential
neilo63 July 22nd, 2011, 01:53 PM The new APPROVED Scheme for Manning St by Kozmic. Same architects and similar design to their previous twins at Ferry St, West End...
Great thing about this DA is there are no appeal rights so we may actually see a Milton tower rise. Can't say much about the quality of it though.

Leesome July 22nd, 2011, 02:33 PM That is freakin hideous...
swifty78 July 22nd, 2011, 04:09 PM meh...
Levathian July 22nd, 2011, 04:33 PM Ewww, but a big phallic 'FUCK YOU!' gesture to the NIMBYs! I like :) Pity it isn't being built in West End!
brizguy July 22nd, 2011, 05:34 PM Who designed these?, while not bad a simple square shape with nice glass balconies would look great, whats with the circular balconies and the 1000 different types of finishes?
BrizzyChris July 23rd, 2011, 12:02 AM To be honest, I think these would be a great addition to Milton. This is density, we can't expect award designs for every building proposed.
SoulvisionQ1 July 23rd, 2011, 12:43 AM It's homes in the right spot which would otherwise be suburban sprawl... Build it.
Fabian October 7th, 2011, 03:46 AM The D/A for the second tower (right of image) is listed for sale through Knight Frank. An advert is in todays edition of The Courier Mail (7/10/2011).

Ah. Thanks for clarifying.
fish.01 October 7th, 2011, 01:38 PM Most in Milton/Auchenflower/Paddington would not be too concerned with this. It's on the river side of the tracks in a mostly non residential area very close to the station and park road.
KJBrissy October 7th, 2011, 01:45 PM This one is in South Brisbane.
Macca-GC October 8th, 2011, 02:12 AM I'm not sure the address on this is right. 22-35 would have to crossing the street.
KJBrissy October 8th, 2011, 02:20 AM Disregard my previous posts guys. I was thinking it was the Metro site.
