Yes, Sam Andy's acting really has improved a big way if only the script of this short film was better, it would have been really good. Hope he works some more on his acting skills and comes with good characters in Tamil movies industry (Read from some of his interviews that he really is interested in acting if somebody was ready to use him).

Anniyan, though I am a post-Ramarajan, Bhagyaraj, T.R period guy, I know more about them when my mom uses to say that she struggled each day to avail tickets to the Karagaattakaaran movie, and even heard that he (Ramarajan) owned the 'Nadanaa, Naattiyaa, Narthanaa' theater complex in Madurai. But, my thought he could have been a little wise and done things somewhat in a okay fashion (similar to how Prabhu and some others are doing) rather than doing as in the below video.

The Vijay movies that I liked are Sachein, Poove Unakkaaga, Nanban, Friends, Khushi, Badri, Priyamaanvale, etc, (however I hate Kuruvi, Villu, ATM (ATM was somewhat okay), Madhurey, Ghilli, Sivakasi, Tirupaachi -> This list is actually very big, I can't remember some of them). Don't know which all movies of Vijay are remakes except some. Facebook la pasanga fight pannitu irupaainga.

It’s finally happening. YouTube phenomenon Wilbur Sargunaraj is nearly done with his cinematic debut Simple Superstar and the film is all set to premiere at a prestigious international film festival this summer. Directed by, starring and written by Sargunaraj, the film is co-directed by Ben Stamper, best known for the documentary Horse & Rider: A Journey Towards Freedom. Backed by the controversial Gandu director Q, Simple Superstar is an Indian, United Arab Emirates and Canadian production.

The film is a semi-biographical musical, a comical, philosophical look at the man who has encouraged people to climb down the ladder and celebrate the common. Made entirely by the support of Sargunaraj’s fanbase and the Wilbur worldwide community, the movie was created using the help of social media. Cast and crew were hand picked by Sargunaraj from his fanbase on Facebook and Twitter.

For those who came in late, Sargunaraj has been described as India’s first Youtube star. The man from Madurai became an Internet sensation thanks to his self-deprecating videos like Love Marriage and Annie Rose that had legions of instant fans asphyxiating with laughter in front of their computers. However, underneath the rib tickling is an underlying humanitarian message, highlighting in a humorous way, Indian social evils. Balaji Tharaneetharan’s Tamil comedy is the first since the Hindi Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron where the cast is not laughing, instead playing it deadpan, leaving the audience rolling in the aisles. One hopes that a Bollywood remake, with a cast of fresh, talented, young newcomers is in the offing, and not the usual crop of ageing, paunchy stars who torture us in the name of comedy these days. And pigs might fly too.

Rajakumaran, actress’ Devayani’s husband, seems to emulate Ramarajan, who ruled the roost for a few years in his own style. Those who missed watching Ramarajan in action might find solace in watching the stills of Rajakumaran in his yet-to-be released film Thirumathi Tamizh. The publicity stills of the film showing Rajakumaran in various ‘intolerable’ poses with Devayani and Keerthi Chawla are ‘powerful’ enough to bring blood to the viewers’ eyes.

With full-make up (including lip-stick) on in Ramarajan’s style and with no physique or facial features to back up his hero-instincts, Rajakumaran’s photographs look pathetic to say the least. The recent advertisement of the film has asked the readers to suggest a title (?!) to Rajakumaran to prefix his name in his first on-screen appearance in lead role. The person whose suggestion is accepted will get tickets for the film!

பவர்ஸ்டார் ஒரு முறை மும்பையில் உள்ள அலுவலகம் ஒன்றில் அலுவலக பணியாளராக (பியூன்) பணியாற்றிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.அவரிடம் ஒரு கெட்ட பழக்கம் இருந்தது. அதாவது யாராவது, ஒருவரைப் பற்றி பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தால், புகுந்து, ஓ... அவரா? அவரை எனக்கு தெரியுமே என்று கூறுவார்.

ஒரு முறை அந்த அலுவலகத்தின் மேலதிகாரி (அமெரிக்காவில் பிறந்து வளர்ந்தவர்) ஆர்னால்ட் பற்றி பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். உடனே எப்போதும் போல நமது பவர்ஸ்டார், ஓ ஆர்னால்டா அவர் என்னோட நண்பராச்சே என்று கூறினார்.இதைக் கேட்ட முதலாளிக்கு சிரிப்பு வந்துவிட்டது. என்ன ஆர்னால்டை உனக்குத் தெரியுமா? சரி அடுத்த முறை நான் அமெரிக்காவிற்குப் போகும்போது உன்னையும் அழைத்துச் செல்கிறேன். உனக்கு ஆர்னால்டை தெரியுமா இல்லையா என்பைத அப்போது பார்க்கிறேன் என்று கூறினார்.அதற்கு பவர்ஸ்டாரும் ஒப்புக் கொண்டு தலையசைத்தா*ர்.

முதலாளி சொன்னபடியே பவர்ஸ்டாரை அமெரிக்காவிற்கு அழைத்துப் போனார். பிறகு ஆர்னால்டின் வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றார். ஆர்னால்ட் பவர்ஸ்டாரை பார்த்ததும் ஓடி வந்து "ஹாய் பவர்... எவ்வளவு நாளாச்சுடா உன்ன பார்த்து... எங்கடா போன இவ்வளவு நாளா" என்று கேட்டவாறு அவரை உள்ளே அழைத்துச் சென்று தேனீர் விருந்து அளித்தார்.அதுவரை வாசலில் நின்றிருந்தார் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்த முதலாளி. பின்னர் பவர்ஸ்டார் வந்ததும்,

ஒபாமா வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றார். ஒபாமாவும் ஆர்னால்டைப் போலவே பவர்ஸ்டாரை கட்டி அணைத்துக் கொண்டு, "ஒரு காபியாவது குடித்துவிட்டுப் போ" என வற்புறுத்தினார்.இதைப் பார்த்து அதிர்ச்சியில் உறைந்தே போனார் முதலாளி.

கடைசியாக வாடிகனுக்கு பவர்ஸ்டாரை அழைத்துப் போனார் முதலாளி. அங்கு மக்கள் கூட்டம் அலை மோதியது. அந்த கூட்டத்தில் உள்ளே நுழைவது மிகக் கடினமான விஷயமாக இருந்தது. எனவே பவர்ஸ்டார்
தனது முதலாளியிடம் "கொஞ்சம் இங்கேயே இருங்கள். நான் போய் வருகிறேன்" என்று கூறி சென்றார்.
சிறிது நேரத்தில் வாடிகன் மாளிகையின் பால்கனியில் இருந்து போப்பின் கைகளை பிடித்துக் கொண்டு பவர்ஸ்டார் தோன்றினான்.அவ்வளவுதான் வாசலில் நின்று இதனைப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்த முதலாளி மயங்கி விழுந்தார். அவரை உடனடியாக மருத்துவமனைக்குக் கொண்டு சென்று சிகிச்சை அளித்த பின் பவர்ஸ்டார், என்ன ஆனது உங்களுக்கு? என்று கேட்டார்.

அதற்கு முதலாளி, "ஆர்னால்டை உனக்குத் தெரியும், ஒபாமாவுக்கும் உன்னைத் தெரியும், போப்புடனும் உனக்கு பழக்கம் இருக்கிறது. இதெல்லாம் பெரிய விஷயமே இல்லை. ஆனால்........
நீ போப்புடன் பால்கனியில் தோன்றியதும் அங்கு கூடியிருந்த கூட்டத்தில் இருந்த ஒருவன், என்னிடம்... யாருடா அது பால்கனியில் பவர்ஸ்டார் கையைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பது என்று கேட்டான். அதைத் தான் என்னால் தாங்கிக் கொள்ள முடியவில்லை" என்று கூறி விட்டு மீண்டும் மயக்கமானார்.
