Thanks for the post. This building actually looks decent and nice, although skinny. That area near the Central Market needs more highrises.

I prefer seeing more high-rise buildings in this area rather than Camko City :)

This building is close to all the financial institutions and retail areas, make it suitable for high-rise residential developments

The area near Central Market need more high-rise but not too close to the market. I saw a mid-rise building U/C just opposite one side of Central Market, which is inappropriate compare to the row of shophouses in some way.

The shop houses probably also need to be demolish and update to something better, taller, nicer.

Those shophouses are among the most expensive in Phnom Penh, each shophouses can cost over US$1m. It has some historical values and if maintained properly, it is worthwhile to preserve.

I think it will be good to preserve one side of the shophouses and leave the remaining for future developments

I think those shophouses that are facing the Central market should be preserved. Those house behind them could be demolished and replaced by mid-range towers.

I think the longert side facing the river (ie: the east side) is a suppose to be the front of Psar Themy, so we should probably have redevelopment to medium / highrise on the end of Kampuchea Krom. and possibly on the north and south as well.

Every building is about maintanance these days, lots of building facade looks like shit due to lack of maintance in the past few decades.

is a deck of card, should be a casino resort project.

or a pack of cigarette, too late now, you can no longer advertise tobacco products in any form, even as a highrise.
