^^ If you look at the right corner of this pic it says Central Market, I think it is behind Cambodia Pubic Bank, opposite the bus stand

If that is Central Market, the white bit on the right (where the north symbol is) is the existing Sorya Shopping Center. I hate tiny pictures wheer you can't read anything useful out of it.

I like this project. Phnom Penh needs more mall + Hotel building projects. It's convenient when friends come over and if they don't want to stay at the house, they can go to a hotel and still be entertained at the mall next to it. :)

PP doesn't need more malls, not the type we have in Sorya or City Mall anyway with hundreds of stalls,

but PP need higher classes shoppings, something that also looks great form the inside.

I agree Traffics is really bad in the area, not really a great place to build more shoppings.

Yes, I agree and that is what I meant. Phnom Penh needs more high class shopping centers and hotels. :)

The line that you highlight is just half of this project.

According to it pic it's should be cover the big road to Psa Thmey.

That's what i was going to say. It will cover the gas station opposite the bus station. I dont feel this project is going to happen, but i wish the developer will not disappoint us :)

That's right, Phnom Penh has enough malls and markets for the lower class and middle lower class. It is time to build something for the rich people :)

Judging from the exterior design of ''The Sorya Grand'' I think this will turn out to be a middle to middle-upper class mall (hopefully it won't disappointed us)

Maybe, but a mid-upper class mall probably should not be place next to/inside a lower-middle class shopping district.

That's right, it should be place somewhere near the riverside or Sihanouk Boulevard :)

I am afraid this project will turn out to be a wholesale center, sometimes you cannot judge how classy it is inside by looking at the exterior design of the building.

Here is the rendering of ''Shibuya 19'' in Bangkok. Great design but it is an wholesale center.

It is acceptable to use the word 'Sorya' if this project is constructed by the same developer as Sorya Mall

Not confused... if they said they went to Lucky, it must be the big lucky along Preah Sihanouk Blvd... but if they go to other Lucky's brand, they must say Lucky Olympic, Lucky Sovanna, or Lucky Soriya...that's it.

Like I said before in other posts, this is just an proposal, it is up to the people behind this project when to start its construction
