this one of the coziest hotels in Tanzania you can find...I love the interior designs of the African Tulip and the pool has got background of the great migration stacked on the wall...amazing

This lodge (NGORONGORO WILDLIFE LODGE) provides the guest wit a spectacular view of the crater

Every one of the bedrooms look out on the crater to ensure all guests get an excellent view. The rooms in this Lodge are well appointed, but the whole lodge is looking like it could do with a bit of a make over. Despite this it is in a superb spot, the rooms are clean, the food is excellent and the staff could not be more helpful

Four Seasons Is Going on Permanent Safari in The Serengeti National Park

For all the Four Seasons Hotels loyalists out there (you know who you are, especially you Josh Flagg) in search of a Four Seasons in the wild, you'll be thrilled to know that the posh hotel brand now has a hotel in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

Four Seasons has just signed a management agreement with the owners of the existing Bilila Lodge (previously a Kempinski.) The resort will be upgraded and rebranded the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti in fall 2012. This marks the first Four Seasons in Sub-Saharan Africa, although the brand is planning a luxury tented safari camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and a beach resort on the island of Zanzibar.

This particular Four Seasons will borrow heavily from the popular Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle in Thailand by allowing guests to spy on wildlife (mainly elephants) in a safe and "ecologically responsible" environment yet while still having all the luxury amenities and necessities they can't travel without.
All 60 rooms, 12 suites and five villas on the property have direct views of the Serengeti and a two-storey great house serves as the heart of the resort with several dining options, a spa and an infinity pool. There's no word yet on whether or not you will still be able to watch wildlife while getting a massage.Right now, we can't seem to find rates on the Bilila Lodge's website which is still functioning. But this being the Four Seasons in a national wildlife park in Tanzania, it will probably be top dollar. We'll start saving our pennies now. http://www.bililalodgeserengeti.com/#accommodations

The high profile crowd at the grand opening of Club 327 last Saturday was full of many of Dar es Salaam's top business leaders who were taking a sneak peak at the new posh VIP suites in Club 327 designed by Moet-Hennessy.

According to Club 327 owner, Mr. Lawrence Kadri, executives in Dar es Salaam now have a new and exclusive place to connect with clients. Club 327 boasts 3 VIP suites built with executives and captains of industry in mind. The suites, which are branded by Moet & Chandon, Hennessy, and Belvedere specifically offer a very exclusive and custom environment perfectly suited for hosting clients while trying to seal that big deal. Each suite is fitted with a 43 inch flatscreen TV connected to DSTV as well as cameras throughout the club, Sony Surround Sound audio systems, DVD/USB players, high speed internet, fully stocked refrigerators, and in-suite restrooms as well.
