Cu Da

500 years old village, situated in on the bank of the Nhue river, about 35 km southeast of Hanoi, famous for having hundreds of ancient houses built in different stages, with the oldest construction dated from Le dynasty, around 300 years ago. The particularity of this village is their mixed architecture with traditional houses reflecting architectural and cultural values of the northern rural region and French colonial influences.

Duong Lam

First ancient village recognized as a national relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information, located in Son Tay town around 60km to the west of Hanoi. The village has a history of 1,200 years with many houses dating back up to 400 years. Duong Lam has 21 relic sites including temples, pagodas and tombs..Architectural appreciation is that most of the houses are made of laterite and mud. Two materials that very are abundant in this area.

Tho Ha

Situated on the bank of Cau River, about 50km from Hanoi, in Bac Giang province. Tho Ha used to be a famous place of pottery without glaze fired with dry grass, and then firewood and coal. In the early 1980s, Tho Ha villagers turned to making dry pancakes and raising animals as pottery was gradually abandoned. You will discover here a real country life with the special walls have attracted film producers, painters, and photographers
