Whether they are trees or just plants on top of the buildings? Size of them on top and on ground looks same. Akash, any idea on the construction material used so that roots do not crack the structure and floors do not leak?

Maurishka palace render looks so cool..colour combination is superb...but i m eagerly waiting someone will announce 50-60 floor apartments in Mangalore:cheers:...it should raise eyebrows of other tier 2 cities:)

Krishnamoorthy that is not an issue,they can add it any time.

Small shrubs mostly bonsai ones can be planted.Roots will not crack the slab as they are mostly small plants or bonsai.I am doing a few projects which have these tree courts on top floors (has become a norm among architects now) We just sink the slab by 450 mm or 3 feet and fill it with soil,beams would be downturned to allow drainage.

Can anyone tell me what rate per sq feet the project was launched at?

I have been told that offers had been made at £4200 pre sq ft ..

Does that sound right?

Builders are quoting 4200 to 4350 depending on your bargaining skills :nuts:
but once you factor in VAT, Service tax and Registartion it comes to around 5200

They launched at 4k and now are quoting 4500.
looking at the size of apartments coming up and the prices being quoted i have to wonder about the number of crorepatis in mangalore...........
