KuwarOnline September 4th, 2011, 02:28 PM Parinee I: the skyscrapers of Bollywood (Mumbai)
We will present you the design of a modern skyscraper. It is 160 meters high and it is built right in the heart of Mumbai, India. Parinee I was constructed to house offices related to the movie industry (Bollywood), however, the facades are unique, flexible and this is why some giant LED screens will be included to broadcast movie trailers. Surely this is a brilliant idea for promotion.
There is also space for a restaurant on the top of the skyscraper and it is the perfect place to celebrate events and movie premieres. Parinee tower is also environmentally friendly, because only organic materials were used. The architects also constructed a system for collecting rainwater as it can be used for toilets. Parinee I is constructed with a particular care and the energy consumption is reduced as much as possible. Actually the glass facade regulates the temperature inside.

KuwarOnline September 4th, 2011, 08:23 PM This should have been near south Mumbai coast so that night skyline would have been better in this pic

bhargavsura September 5th, 2011, 01:16 AM I don't think this is a bad location. Andheri also has many good buildings and nicer areas.
Indiadreams September 5th, 2011, 08:54 AM It has a flashy facade as it predominantly caters to entertainment industry. SoBo cannot have such facades. Moreover it will be dwarfed by skyscrapers planned there.
Though, the name suggests Andheri, it will form a cluster with the high rises (mostly arnd 30-50 floors) in Lokhandwala, Oshiwara, Goregaon and Malad. It is very close to Oberoi springs, Sky height and Imperial heights

Yes i agree with you bhargavsura because i stay there only

Indiadreams December 26th, 2011, 12:14 PM I think this is around 10-15 floors up. Looks plain as of now. hope there is no other commercial building under cosntruction nearby
India101 December 27th, 2011, 05:15 AM Already? wow, someone needs to get pics asap!
Indiadreams December 28th, 2011, 05:12 PM I got it wrong. I just checked deekshith's post on location. It is on the same side of the road as Yash Raj Films just behind Zee studio. I mistook the logo as the location instead of the circle in the first map.
Btw, too many commercial buidings under construction in Andheri W as the entertainment industry is getting more organised.
