President of Megaworld subsidiary Suntrust Properties, Inc. (SPI) Atty. Harrison M. Paltongan (second from right) shakes hands with Global-Estate Resorts, Inc (GERI) president Atty. Ferdinand Santos after signing the Memorandum of Agreement for a partnership in the Suntrust Capitol Plaza condominium in the Diliman district, right beside Quezon City Hall. The Suntrust Capitol Plaza will feature a 33-storey tower with almost 500 residential units. Its strategic location and resort-type amenities will make the project an unbeatable choice for homebuyers with a distinct taste and lifestyle. nice grand lobby, parang mas high end pa sa mga current projects. siguro old designs always had condo cater to higher end customers and tend be more generous in common areas like lobbies.

finally! after more than 15 yrs or so of being idle... nice location right beside sulo hotel along matalino road, and just a few steps away from phil. heart center. hope many of the original investors are still around...

At long last, we can get rid of an eyesore behind city hall and make it a thing of beauty. The location's quite ideal because it's very accessible to public transport and near the schools in the Diliman-Loyola areas. Units facing north and east would have refreshing views of the Memorial Circle and Diliman campus greenery plus the mountains of Montalban.

taga up-diliman, wala namang mahirap sa up, they can afford 30,000 per sem then they can afford 15,000 per month rental

I'm quite at a loss as to why Megaworld placed this project under Suntrust? At least it's not Empire East but why not directly under Megaworld as a Megaworld project?

todjikid
August 23rd, 2011, 09:37 PM
yeah, this actually looks better than some megaworld project. Also, they will have minimal issues with marketing if it carries megaworld brand. people will have doubts on this project and having a new brand carry it will pose some credibility issues. siguro hindi napag-aralan ng MW to.

True. I thought Suntrust is for their lower to middle income market.

Maybe because they will have another project in the area as well under MW? I heard they have a property in Quezon Ave. apart from the GA Skysuites that they have eyed for take-over (but has not materialized :( ) Although that might not be the reason.

Yes project namin dati yan sa Fil-Estate. Year 2000 yan natigil.
Don't worry to those buying public, halos superstructure complete naman na yan. if ever may gagawin namang structural investigation at retrofiiting yan.

Maraming natigil na project ang Fil-Estate noon, mayroon sa Shaw near wack-wack, tapos na rin ngayon by others at yung hukay sa likod ng pioneer woodlands na tinabonan.

Yung sa Shaw, the office tower Sun Plaza.

Sa Pioneer naman, the 47-storey condo, Central Park Place.

natapos ba lahat ng renaissance towers?

Hindi. Renaissance 5000 (the 4th tower) was never built. Yung 5000 yata yung mirror image ng 3000 ang design.

Now there's this new condo by SM Development under the M Place brand currently being presold, M Place Ortigas. It will be built at the Renaissance Center, at the dread of current Renaissance unit owners.
