Ahh!!!!!! After Nine Long Months! Its Raining!

Holy shit 9 months!!?? Wow, LA is gonna be a rude awakening for me:D

actually... 181 days, since April 17, so... 7 months. But thats still a long time!

THE 181 CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF NO RAINFALL AT DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES WILL LIKELY COME TO AN END. THIS WOULD BE THE SIXTH LONGEST TIME PERIOD OF CONSECUTIVE DRY DAYS DATING BACK TO 1921. FOR MORE SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL AT DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES... ONE WOULD HAVE TO GO BACK TO MARCH 2ND... WHEN (.27) INCHES OF RAIN WAS RECORDED.

Yeah. Thank to god for raining day. Raining was good for plant, flower and keep area clean. Los Angeles will get enough water from raining but no more drought.

Ya i love the rain we need it. The drought has been killing us and the forests. This is a whopper storm with some areas recieveing over 7 inches of rain and the sierra getting ponded with over 5 feet of snow at some places. I cant wait! Mammoth opens on Thursday and soont he locals will be open with the door open for more storms to follow.

As an ex-Angeleno I must sympathize with you....but it does the same thing here in Athens....months of no measurable rain...just when you see the clouds and you wish for the rain to start...they merely float above you and out into the sea! Being an ex- resident of the pacific northwest prior to living in calif. I never thought I'd see the day when I would like to see the rain! Maybe it's because deep inside I know that the holders of the annual rain festival ...you know the one that is held in Vancouver,BC & Seattle,WA....between Jan. 1st and Dec 31st...is never going to be held here!
