i could see that fr my unit in bgc w/c i got in 2007. the construction is sooo slow that i hardly notice any big improvement every yr that i go to taguig. parang pinapakita lang na may gumagawa para may bumili pero super bagal. di naman mataas ang bldg.

@tbp September 1st, 2011, 03:42 PM i usually pass by this place and i have to say mabagal nga pero there have been improvements and movements as well. from my observation tapos na yung isang tower while the second one, which is color blue, is almost done while the third one is already being constructed na.
miss the phils September 1st, 2011, 05:42 PM this narrow corridor could offer sana a passage from mckinley hill and main fort boni

Redrose September 29th, 2011, 03:32 AM I am heavily considering getting one unit here. Can anybody post their 21sqm units at tower 1? Ready na to di ba?

look at the fence
Redrose October 1st, 2011, 11:22 PM They're selling their 21sqm units at 1.4M. Do you guys think that is a good deal given the location of this project?

You would do better buying one of the properties on the right near the battle monument thats were the real value is. but I think those owners are hard core and wont sell.

Why is that? Did you see anything particularly wrong in this project? I would like to know since I just reserved a unit here. I chose this for 2 reasons, location and price/payment scheme.
got the pic from another thread. credit goes to owner Maher Kiki. Ridgewood is at the bottom of the pic

No I dont see anything wrong with Rigdewood, my comment was to say the other side C5 where the houses are is valuable reale estate and I dont think the developers have been successful in buying that land from owners.

I think they should try, those houses (or shanties?) is starting to look so out of place as the SM mall takes shape.
Btw, that's good to hear :) I thought there are things about Ridgewood that i have't heard of. I checked the map and it doesn't appear sitting on the faultline though near it. Honestly, the property isn't as swanky as the ones right across it (McKH) and not even comparable to DMCI properties further down C5. But I'm aiming for good value for my money by choosing a better location (closer to bgc). It's a risk and I hope I made the right decision.
jorge3010 October 2nd, 2011, 08:51 AM I agree it looks out of place and I am sure the developers have tried to buy that land but if the owner dose not want to sell you cannot force them. I am also sure the home owners know thay sittting on valuable land, one day they will get an offer to good to refuse. Regarding Ridgewood I agree with your assumption and just outside of BGC and McKH. Their is a market just need to target that market.

hi, have u checked out d dmci project along C5 as well? How do you find it and how do you compare this to ridgewood? A studio unit kc in rosewood, 28.5sqm, RFO already just reopened and i just had it reserved... Price is only about 1.6mio. What do u think? Im concerned abt d area kc in terms of transpo. Thanks

I haven't checked Rosewood but i saw that it was a whole lot better than Ridgewood. It's made by DMCI afterall! :) It's just that it's proximity to C5 itself and BGC defeated the very purpose why I chose to reserve a condo unit. I don't have a ride and i fancy the idea of walking to Market! or even SM Aura if i'm up to it, from Ridgewood.
redmarked October 3rd, 2011, 09:22 AM Wow, so SM Aura and Market Market can be walked from Ridgewood? That would really be very appealing! after all, its locaton location location that would matter more... now, im having second thoughts about my rosewood reservation...

Well di naman super lapit. Mga 4-5 blocks away. Sanay ako maglakad sa bgc kasi hilig kumain sa labas ng office bldg (ayaw cafeteria food )
Try to check the site and nose around the units in Tower 2 to help you decide. It's better quality against location pag sinabing Rosewood vs Ridgewood, imho. I think I have a view of SM from my unit, btw :)
missionary October 3rd, 2011, 04:46 PM medyo malapit nga sa bgc at lalong mas malapit sa mckinley hills compared to dmci projects. may jeepney ride pa sigurong available.
Redrose October 8th, 2011, 12:16 PM Seeing that this is a low end condo, i guess it's the reason why this thread is deserted. But for future tenants, here a couple of image overlay fault and liquefaction maps i did for info. They are not official though.

Hi, those houses were there for decades owned by military personnel. The land where the towers stand was formerly a firing range of Philippine Army. They are not "shanty", they're full size concrete 2 to 3-floored houses and apartments. Residents there are mostly middle class.

manila1 November 20th, 2012, 04:09 AM Think about this. Manila in all its short coming is the best city to live in, the most beautiful people on earth. If a billionaire would ask me where is the best location in the Philippines to buy a condo. I will not need to think about this question, MCKINLY HILL is the place. Again ,, the best location in the Philippines is MCKINLEY HILL. So with all that being said, all we are asking is for a peace of mind. so if the management of MEGA WORLD can release this statement about the FUTURE OWNERSHIP OF THE LAND, then we can all just shut up and move on.

This made me sad since I already signed up for this deal early this year =(
To all prospective buyers of Mega World, before you sign your contract, please ask Mega World to produce the MOA, as the land is owned by the local government NOT by Mega World. We are all waiting for Mega World Official Statement for a long time now stating how the land will be transferred from the local government to the body corp
