this was in yesterday chinese paper, saying a cctv camera capture the whole thign, and the cctv provide half of the requires evidnce to capture the gunman.

i find it very scary there are still so much misuse of guns in the country.

The police already captured the one that shot the victim. And they know all the identity of the robbers. Thank to the video which could lead to capture those beasts

One of possible 12 cold-blooded robbers, who brutally robbed a woman and her son and callously shot her dead, has been arrested after a tip off from the public.

On Sunday 28th August, a group of between 6-12 robbers robbed a woman of 100 million riels ($30,000) and shot her three times in a busy street and in broad daylight. The robbery was captured by a security camera which took place near Pochentong Airport. The woman was shot her 3 times after she tried wrestle back the money, hidden in a beer case, from the robbers.

The robbery began when 48 year-old Chuon Chea Theara and her 21 year-old son were transporting the $30,000 in a motorbike from Chom Chao district to exchange for the riel currency in Phnom Penh. On the way, they noticed people on motorbikes were chasing them so they sped up, taking shortcuts to find police, but they could not find ones, so they ride their motorbike and crashed it in front of a market opposite the airport and ran into the market with the money. The robbers chased them, wrestled and took the money. The son ran away, but the mother ran after the robbers and tried to wrestle back the money, but was shot three times in cold-blooded by one of between 6-12 robbers who were waiting outside. The whole robbery was captured on a security camera and the footage was posted on Youtube, Facebook and sent from one person to one person by mobile phones.

At 6:30 am, with a tip from the public who identified one of the robbers through the Youtube footage, police had arrested 31 year-old Lay Vannak, alias India because of his Indian complexion, at his house in Lovea Em district in Kandal province.

Police are still looking for the other robbers who are still on the run.

She loves money more than her life. Can't blame her because the money is quite a lot, but if she just let the money go, she wouldn't be shot and dead. So sad >(

Robbery don't get long sentence, murder does. What chance has he got to bribe official when this already make newspaper headlines.

Regarding to the law, they will serve in jail no less than 15 years.
