This project attempts to resolve the programmatic of the site. The shape is the resultant of maximum usage of space with a delineation of the site. The whole is y shaped building of 19000 m2 served for multi function purpose. The two residential buildings are pushed towards the front on both wings of the complex where as the other activities like the club house and the swimming pool are set at the back. A car parking is allocated at the pilotis level of the ground floor created to become a functional space and an open one for the pedestrians.

A continuous belt of wooden louvers are rapped all around the building affecting its transparent appeal and manipulating its private effect. Meanwhile, the interior is benefiting from natural light and the whole is expressing a persistency in design.

I think it is a brilliant piece of architecture and that's the first thing I noticed when I saw this project. I think yes it would stand out and could be awkward. It is awkward in terms of its site context but I don't think it is awkward from a cultural point of view.

There is a similar project in Abuja that I found, but I don't know if it has been built.
