This is kinda relevant to skscrapers so I thought i'd ask here.

I am planning on moving downtown next year once I graduate. I am looking for an apartment for rent somewhere in the downtown area (and surrounding areas like valley, spring hill etc etc except for milton cause its too stinky there).

I dont have the faintest idea where to start looking because there are just SO MANY boutique apartment complexs around and most you have to apply for through their centre mangement as apposed to going to a realtor.

So, my question is, can you guys list some good, nice and preferably cheap apartment complexs that you guys know of in Brisbane.

Things like Flynn and FV4006 are what I am after. I'd like to pay no more than $300p/w, preferably under $200p/w if I can help it so im not exactly looking for mini Aurora.

Thanks!

hmmmm you'ld be pushing it at that price rusty? even studios in the inner city are 250+ these days. my advice.... wait for the recession and pick up a bargain then.

i want it for rent, not to buy.

FV4006 is $300p/w for 2 bedroom 1 bath and its very nice, and i dont need something THAT nice.

Why pay off someone else's excessive mortgage?

A friend of mine has a small flat in South Bank, I have sent him an email to see whether he is still trying to let it.

I know of someone with a 1 bedroom in the valley that they're renting for $210p/w - no carpark though.

I live here and even I didn't realise prices were this high, last time I looked you could get a 1 bedroom apt for about $140/wk.... of course maybe I'm just insane and making these figures up????
