what is that reflecting window with those names on it ?

It is a monument in honor of those who contributed financially to the remodeling of the riverwalk.

A large part of the project was financed thorough donations from average citizens. When the project was finished, the Mayor ordered this monument to be built. The "monument to the donors" or the "matrix" as it is locally known, has the name of every single soul who gave one cent to make the new riverwalk happen.

In front there is a computer where you input a name and it tells you the coordinates to find it in the matrix!

Wow Guayaquil is very organized ! The capital city should be removed to Guayaquil instead of Quito. Why still no thread of Quenca, Ecuador's 3rd largest city ??

Quito is located in very high altitude ( 2650 m above sea level ) and its very dangerous due to proximity to major volcanoes. How far is downtown Quito to Equator mark ??
