mais le gout est très différent , le notre est plus bon :) , je connais presque tout les types de gâteaux marocains (j'ai des amis marocains a vérone)

ya une grande différence. désolé de te le dire mais malheureusement c'est la vérité

Too much sugar and diabetes is rampant in Algeria as a result.

I do have a weakness for Baklavas and Dziriettes though.

the result of diabetes is mostly because of cheap bread and potatoes
which is not very healthy
other than occasions I do not think many algerians eat many traditional sweets

yes there is a similarity between the algerian cuisine and the morrocan but when it comes to sweets i think algerians are the best because there is so much diversity and influences of other civilizations that have passed in Algeria

pastry shops in algiers are always full we eat sweets everyday..plus soda and juices and ice creams :nuts: we are addicted to sweets.

I have had the strawberry ones. I felt I was eating plain sugar. I can't even eat Tcharak for the same reason.

I'm much more a fan of less sugary baklavas, dziriettes, gazelle horns and halwat tabaa.

C'est dur pour nous de l'étranger qui n'ont pas l'occasion d'en manger,moi j'ai du attendre qu'un oncle a moi les rammenent avec lui les envois par colis pour enfin gouter lol.

Vous connaissez "La bague de Kenza" ? On trouve d'exellentes patisseries Algerienne , ainsi que du traiteur !!! Ils commencent à en ouvrir partout ! Il y'a meme une patisserie à l'aéroport d'Orly !!

Oui je connais le concept est vraiment classe, y'en a qui font salon de thé aussi, les patisseries ne sont vraiment pas données mais elles sont tellement bonnes..
Y'en a une dizaine je crois rien qu'en region parisienne, ils se developpent plutot vite je trouve et y'en a 2 sur Alger, une a Ouled Fayet et une autre à Hydra.:)

Et dira qu'au départ, c'était juste une petite patisserie de quartier , rue Saint maur dans le 11 ème arrdt de Paris.
