great site!
I read these books about what NYC looked like back in the days, and I find all these great mansions on 5th ave. and it pissed me off so much that nobody saved them. Or there are some pics of churches all alone, while it's supposed to be 73rd street in Manhattan, and knowing what it's like nowadays, it's a big contrast!
