Inertia October 22nd, 2011, 10:08 PM It's not SAA that's expensive, it's the commercial viability or lack thereof that makes it expensive. They're actually one of the cheapest for overseas flights I've found
Lydon October 22nd, 2011, 11:06 PM Well I can't think of very many people at all who would want to fly from East London to Lagos and vice versa, so you have your answer.
musiccity October 22nd, 2011, 11:31 PM Look at flights from Lagos to Johannesburg and you'd find that they're much cheaper.

briker October 23rd, 2011, 04:08 PM SAA is usually the cheapest on long haul routes to Europe & Asia. It does however ask too much for local flights, but fortunately competition is growing.
