Is it the Mich Ave Tower being built here? What exactly is being built there? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Michigan Avenue supposed to have a streetwall? It appears, last I was in Chicago, that whatever is being built there has a long low-rise garage and, more importantly, places an ugly blank wall along Roosevelt Ave. west of Michigan Ave.

Am I seeing things?

To say that Michigan Avenue Tower is "on the corner" is somewhat deceiving. It's actually closer to 13th than to Roosevelt. At any rate, the "streetwall" is already heavily broken up at that point (it doesn't really reach all the way down to Roosevelt) by the likes of 1130, 1212, etc. The garage for MAT also appears to have retail lining the ground floor.
