Is it just me or are there a lot of these towers with "exoskeletons" currently coming up in Sydney?

I remember reading somewhere that there are no new plots for major highrises in North Sydney. Is this false or is another highrise being torn down for this?

^^
This isn't a vacant site, but the building on it currently is 6 storeys. Most sites in North Sydney for future highrise development would have something similar I think.

Yes they seem to be the flavour of the month

Maybe I'm overconcerned, but is it really a good idea to put all elevators and stairs at only one end of building, at the narrowest side? I mean for safety reasons.
