View Full Version : MUMBAI CENTRAL | Nathani Heights | 262m | 72 fl | U/C
IndiansUnite November 1st, 2011, 06:52 PM Nathani Heights is part of a redevelopment project that will see the demolition of Dalal Estate in Mumbai Central. The developers of the project - Nathani Parekh Constructions will accommodate the existing tenants between the 9th and 38th floors and sell the remaining floors.
Fairwood Consultants are providing their project management services and put the number of floors on their website (http://www.fairwoodindia.com/nathani-heights-mumbai-central) at 80.
The project first made news (http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2010-07-13/mumbai/28276490_1_tenants-floors-mumbai-central) in July 2010 and finally got environmental clearance (http://envis.maharashtra.gov.in/envis_data/files/nathani36.pdf) in June 2011.

sixsigma1978 November 1st, 2011, 07:08 PM ^^ thanks. what are those structures? Chawls?
IndiansUnite November 1st, 2011, 07:14 PM It's just an old housing complex but I don't think they look any different than what typical chawls look like. Read all about it here (http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2010-07-13/mumbai/28276490_1_tenants-floors-mumbai-central). Ignore the floor figures.

work has begun on Nathani Heights (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpost.php?p=83245916&postcount=6277) in Mumbai Central. 2 more renders (http://www.fairwoodindia.com/nathani-heights-mumbai-central):

Nathani Heights, Mumbai is a residential development of at Dalal Estate, Mumbai Central. This 80 storey tower has a total BUA of 1.3 million Sqft. This tower is expected to be one of the tallest residential tower in Mumbai. The Client, Nathani Group of Companies, has appointed Fairwood for end to end project management services.
So 80 stories, plus that roof feature should easily make it over 300m. Looks like we have our next supertall!

Cov Boy November 15th, 2011, 01:59 PM This dont look 80flrs, more like 60 floors?
IndiansUnite November 15th, 2011, 09:01 PM True.
The environmental clearance is for 72 floors so they must have proposed a taller tower, the render for which we don't have.
ssusa November 15th, 2011, 11:58 PM Is this the actual design of the buidling? Looks ugly :(

TutConr dude if it 80 story and the height of each floor is 11 ft then don't u think it makes it 860 ft or 262 meters. i check in the civil aviation NOC and updated the height. it actually that much only. and the number of floors is 75. i check the plans day in day out. oh the actual height it more than 262 meters.

the demolition is already done. if u see there is a blue line below the arrow head, those are the tin sheets that are usually put up on the construction sites. its past shore piling and excavation. the actual construction is to begin very soon.

Well as per below source its 80floors....so I updated as per this source.. if u have any authentic source like Nathani group website or something which says 75floors.... i will certainly update the wiki pages accordingly..... :)
About height logic yes I do agree with you. But wiki rules doesnt allow me or anybody to update on guess work. They need some kind of authentic source may ur company website will be sufficient .

It is heartening to see even 90 meters below buildings are indiscriminately included in the tallest database.when company representative has clearly clarified regarding its height, that is authentic to update the height. In many of the websites height information is not given of so many buildings. Further for many projects like lodha bellismo and ahuja towers height is changed time to time.Since SSC forumers are very enthsiastic information is gathered from every possible source and is updated in very positive manner.Even many property websites show height or number of floors differently. One has to ascertain how authentic the source of information is and need not be buerocratic.Persons dealing with project is the best source.at least 30 floors or 100 meters buildings are included that is better rather than setting lower benchmarks for height in inclusion to tallest database.

dubairaj August 20th, 2012, 01:24 PM Most welcome :) Yes it had been very quiet with no updates from anyone since such a long time.
Also no updates from Rameez Khan of Nathani Constructions on progress?
I read that a consortium of Gammon India and Brookfiled Multiplex (Australia) has bagged the contract for Civil works and Architectural finishes for Nathani Heights. Brookfiled Multiplex have been the main contractors for some of the biggest and most beautiful skyscrapers in Dubai (like Emirates Tower, etc) and also many around the world.
The piling work contract I heard was awarded to Thornton Tomasetti (USA). This is the same company which worked on the Petronas Towers in Malaysia.
Seems like this surely will be a world class tower !!

I think it's super-expensive for the kind of area in which it is being built and for the kind of tower that is being built, at that rate I could go to the Viveria towers at Mahalaxmi (for immediate possession).

OT,Imperial towers surely looks royal from this view
mdhar.v12 April 19th, 2013, 05:33 PM Do you people really think that it's going to be 72 floors....from the render it doesn't look like a 72 floor tower. Can any one please confirm it??
henchman April 19th, 2013, 08:33 PM Even I have the same doubt, maybe because the land parcel seems a bit smaller for an fsi required for a 72 floor building.
