RSH&P have responded to submissions on C4 and the building has been redesigned somewhat. I must say that what was a solid submission (but nothing particularly exciting) has been turned into something sexy, curvaceous and pretty stunning!! I love it!!

I still like the use of colour - blue/yellow/green and that the lifts/piping has been cleaned up somewhat on the northern face.

Under the current proposal, this building will become the tenth tallest tower in Sydney (to the top of the architectural feature and including 115 Bathurst Street which is still in the planning phase).

There is a possibility that a 50m spire will be added to the top of the LMR, possibly extending the height to 256m, making it the second tallest building in Sydney (to the top of the spire and again including 115 Bathurst Street which has a maximum permissible height of 260m). Factoring in existing projects in other Australian cities, C3 could become the sixth tallest building in Australia (to tip of spire).

Modifications to C4 have been APPROVED

It's just the building's working name because it doesn't technically have an address and no naming rights sponsors have signed on yet :)

Also it is thought the tower is close to being FULLY LEASED with Australian bank Westpac set to occupy the tower.

It is thought that the commercial component of the tower (90,000 sq m GFA+) is fully leased by KPMG and the building's developer Lend Lease.

Details should be confirmed in the next few weeks

That looks a little bit too similar to the C4 Tower for my taste. I wish they would have come up with entirely different designs for each of the towers.

I agree, but I think C5 is the best looking of the Barangaroo commercial towers (colour scheme, podium and shape). Would have preferred C3 and C4 to be different.

Lend Lease and KPMG have taken 75% of the space in C5 which guarantees its financial viability :)
