View Full Version : HDD Runing slow after format after few time login can't detect

Hi all

Just request a help . sorry for my bad english
my friends pc is can't boot up & i doing a format , & also update the bios to latest one ,
so my problem is after format the PC the hdd can't detect but can work externally so i not sure what is the problem is,
PC Model Toshiba Satellite C640D http://www.uklv.info/g.gif
Ram 1 G
Hdd 320
Bios version Insyde H20 180
i already try change the controller From ACHI to Compatibility mode
at first few time is work well but now can't boot up again.

& at the bios some time can detect HDD some time can't.

Depending on whether you are formatting your master hard drive or slave hard drive the ways of formatting will differ.Simply go to my computer then right click the specific hard drive you want, then format your hard drive via command prompt.Click the start button click run go to after going to command prompt just type cmd. You can now format from here by simply typing format followed by the drive letter
