The waves outsidr the Rip have been up to 10 meters high this afternoon the Port of Melbourne site has some great information check out the webcams at Point Lonsdale as well..

Yes, the weather was probably the worst I've seen in Sale this year (Sale is 2.5 hours east of Melbourne). It was virtually raining horizontally. Bloody Cold Too.

we (Sydney) got hit yesterday with gail force winds! lots of damage.
neo- Sale is home to Australia's tallest structure! the 427m Omega base nav mast. i wonder if its still 427m? lol

I haven't noticed it - where is it? The only big structure I've noticed is the RAAF East Sale Radar, about 10km South East of the RAAF Base.
