OOOOH c'mon we got a better skyline than your Berlin ;) Your city was destroyed also during the WW2 right? Now look... what city raised more? C'mon don't be that stupid how you are.

Sorry?

Didn't wanted to be offensive, no doubt about Manila having more highrises than Berlin,
but you can't deny that 90% of the Philippinean projects being postet here are in fact commie blocks with just slightly improved facades.

Most of that buildings wouldn't even get a building permission here..

You should be proud for quality not quantity. The later one of course is no major archievement anymore today, as there are citys with magnitudes of numbers of highrises over both Berlin and Manila ;)

I mean...

"Yet another cheap commie-block that has made a timetravel from the 70s? Poor Philippines."

I think this was more a poor post. Anyway, with your last post here, you showed that you aren't that stupid. Quality not quantity, but for a newly industrialized country like the Philippines (Next Eleven nation and NIC), theres no way to build here such buildings like the new WTC in New York, right?

As far our country have other problems, we can be proud of Metro Manilas DENSITY and QUANTITY of its skyline... Even if around 60 % (not 90% c'mon!) look like "commie blocks with just slightly improved facades" what you said. But we can't build every second highrise / skyscraper here in the Philippines like a masterpiece of architecture.

And I agree, a lot of the projects here in SSC for the Philippines are like standard highrises with no character. But as I said, we aren't UAE, USA, Japan or even China. But it depends: We got a lot more projects here on SSC Philippines than SSC Germany, so it's normal you'll see more standardized highrises (60%) than nice skyscrapers (30%) or even supertalls (10%)...

I agree with Wunderknabe, they should make better quality projects, like the condos projects in Canada and in the USA.
