reign December 13th, 2011, 08:17 AM WOW ! Another tall and glassy office tower in BGC. Looks nice.
tita01 December 13th, 2011, 08:18 AM nice building glassy
thomasian December 13th, 2011, 01:27 PM Daiichi? Oh, it's the same developer as BGC's One Global Place office tower. Nice. Thanks.
reign December 13th, 2011, 03:16 PM Daiichi? Oh, it's the same developer as BGC's One Global Place office tower. Nice. Thanks.
Other completed projects includes Regent Parkway in BGC , Taipan Place and Orient Square in Ortigas.
thomasian December 13th, 2011, 04:45 PM ^^ Thanks for completing the list. The developer seems to be ultra-low profile yet turns out surprisingly good projects. Now I won't have doubts as to how this project would turn out. :okay:
dunamis December 13th, 2011, 05:00 PM It's a design inspired by Shang at the Fort.
maczilla December 13th, 2011, 06:19 PM Wonder where they are constructing this...
thomasian December 30th, 2011, 06:27 PM Somehow, I feel like this will be built beside sister project One Global Place. Gut feel, wala lang, bigla lang pumasok sa isip ko.
But i hope not, because that lot is currently being used as the staging area for RCBC Savings Bank Corporate Center and it's not a good thing because that would mean RCBC needs to be finished first before this one can start.
thomasian February 10th, 2012, 10:49 AM ^^ I guess my hunch was wrong. :D But I'm not letting fellow SSCers down, I found the location while biking last night, will post the pictures later or Sunday.
I'll post first the location I marked in Google Earth.
From how I located it, it would be lot-7, block-5 of the City Center North.
But it seems like the fenced area is a little to big for me and I'm thinking they also may have occupied lot-8 as a staging area, or could be the other way around with lot-7 as the staging area and lot-8 as the location of the tower.
Either way, both lots each has a lot area of 1,790 square meters.
Note: It's lot 7 that I marked, lot 8 would be the lot west of that.

reign February 10th, 2012, 11:04 AM location is probably the fenced lot with the red thing and a backhoe.

RonnieR February 10th, 2012, 11:16 AM location is probably the fenced lot with the red thing and a backhoe.
Yes, that's it. I passed by this morning and saw this One Word Place. Glad that there is a thread for this new beautiful tower in BGC.
thomasian February 10th, 2012, 12:40 PM Oh, it's simply lot-7 based on what I see in Aziza's pic, one of the five lots on that area bounded by 9th Ave., 11th Ave, 32nd St, and Lane R. It's settled then, it occupies only one 1,790 square meter lot. I wonder if that fenced corner lot (lot-9) is their staging area?

junstein March 10th, 2012, 04:36 PM cool glassy building but still typical ...
_zner_ March 10th, 2012, 08:17 PM ^^ It doesn't look typical when you're here in the Philippines! That's still something to be thankful of. I'd rather have an all-glass building than a concrete-filled condo. :D
tita01 May 4th, 2012, 10:43 AM latest?? construction pics?

One World Place is Daiichi Properties' office condominium building in the heart of Bonifacio Global City. The foreign architectural firm Gensler and the local architectural firm Aidea have collaborated for this project to build a smart and responsive building catering to the evolving business needs and lifestyles of its tenants. For its structural design, the Asian Institute of Technology of Thailand has been commissioned to evaluate and determine the building's resilience to varying levels of seismic activity.
One World Place is also being developed as a Green Building that satisfies the requirements for LEED Certification.

sawhack December 18th, 2012, 06:50 AM the Principal Architect of this building was Gensler, the Architect of Shanghai Tower and Incheon Intl. Airport.. but why the deisgn was modular and quite similar to W Fifth Avenue the only difference is the facade.. See W Fifth Avenue of Arquitectonica in Fort Bonifacio and you'll find out the similarity of structural.. the difference is the tile pattern of W fifth.

One World Place receives Best Office Development award
Daiichi Properties Rebrands With One World Place
On May 12, the Gensler-designed One World Place tower won Best Office Development – Philippines at the Asia Pacific Property Awards ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When it opens in January 2015, the building will play a central role in a corporate rebranding campaign for Daiichi Properties and Development, which wants to strengthen its position with large commercial tenants in the global market while remaining attractive to local business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) clients. read more here (http://www.gensleron.com/cities/2013/6/6/daiichi-properties-rebrands-with-one-world-place.html)
