Kevinkhoo1986 October 29th, 2004, 02:09 PM What about a house? OBman October 29th, 2004, 04:06 PM I guess the most common one is autocad."CAD" computer aided design. It's really handy when you wanto draw floor plans and detail drawings. When i learned how to use cad, I got so lazy, i hardly use my drafting pens and paper unless i have to. But for 3d rendering, I suggest 3d Max, or 3d Viz, you can draw up 3d houses or buildings much quicker than with cad, you can also add material and lighting, pretty powerful software. but you will need a good computer with alot of ram and a good graphic card.. or else the renderin will take forever. cheers and have fun drawing man Kevinkhoo1986 October 29th, 2004, 04:33 PM I have Autocad 2005 in my computer but i just do not how to get started. It is quite confusing. Is there any website that could provide me a Free tutorial for autocad 2005? i have found a few website about it but it seems like most of the tutorial were using the older version. vvill October 29th, 2004, 08:10 PM I have Autocad 2005 in my computer but i just do not how to get started. It is quite confusing. Wissmut October 30th, 2004, 01:24 AM For first, I'd take Palladio or Auto-CAD 2003/4...the students versions. Easily to understand and handling, bis limited in its possibilities; only for lowrise projects...;) Or simply take a pencil, create an fabulous drawing and scan in...the cheapest - and like i think - bettest way of building design. The most impressive imagination isn't anything withaut ability to traw. A Computer can't resit, you habe to train your talent. :) Kit November 2nd, 2004, 05:27 AM I use a combination of AutoCad, Revit, Vidz and Photoshop to cover a range of drawings from 2D line drawings to 3D presentation drawings. Mahaputra November 2nd, 2004, 10:50 AM I use Autocad, Viz, and 3dmax.. as ObMan said.. viz and 3dmax is powerful software.. especially to create beautiful 3d renderings... and u can create animation as well.. autocad is mainly for technical drawings..
