That's it.

It took me 2 hours to do this, it might sound long but compared to last year it was actually very easy.

Now I have to make up my mind and vote. But I have to sleep a night on it because I simply don't know yet.

Thanks Momo for the good effort. I was waiting for this thread for 12 months ;).
Now you can just see that it was a drop in the number of completed towers comparing to the last year.
Last year there was 46 towers which 30 were 110 Meters or more. This year there is only 29 towers that are over 100 M.

Fairly, I'm reluctant between 1, 3, 13, 21, and 29.
Why? Because simply all these towers look beautiful and have more quality and charm, good location and impressive facade.
Worse tower is Osaka Fukushima tower.
I will decide on the winner when I think more about them.

Kitakyushu's Kokura D.C. Tower is great for the city, it has a great design for a commie, and a slim shape. So I hesitated to vote for it.
Then Sky tree East tower is great too, compact without looking too boxy, with a nice slight curve on one side.
But thinking of what kind of building I'd like the most to have in a skyline, it's Sumitomo Shinjuku Grand Tower that has my favour, so I voted for it.

Together with the base creates complexity and interaction of activities and breaks the ordinariness of skyscrapers typology. One step closer to the vibrant city resembling the urban jungle. Though it's not that type of design I like the most.

The building I vote for. In a way I see pure Tokyo in it, or at least a distinctive ambience. It combines two functions office and residential. The tower looks clear and hi tech, seems to be aware of being in the dense city. I really like the aesthetics, that expression trough simple means and the cladding is very bracing.

I finally decided to vote for Shinjuku sumitomo grand tower not only because of its height but also because the large ass base and the quality glass facade.

My final top 5 for this year are:

The worst building has to be the ARK HILLS FRONT TOWER, it all ready looks like its ten years old.

The building i would most want to live in would be the Brillia Ariake sky Tower. The inside of the building is amazing and it has a beautiful Japanese garden. But the draw of this building for me is that it has one of the best views of the Tokyo skyline, it makes Tokyo look like Hongkong.

Nope, counting everything completed and U/C it's #26 on the list of tallest buildings in Tokyo.

Currently the highest tower is the Tokyo Midtown Tower with 248.1m, but currently U/C is the Loop Line 2 - Zone III project (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1218491) that will be 255.5m tall when it's completed.
