تعتزم أمانة الطائف تنفيذ مشروع مبناها الجديد بتصميم هندسي مبتكر مستوحى من طبيعة المدينة السياحية , وتمت دعوة الشركات الراغبة في تنفيذ المشروع الذي يقع على طريقي الملك عبدالله ووادي وج لتقديم عروضها خلال الفترة المقبلة.
وأوضح أمين الطائف المهندس محمد المخرج أن المبنى سيكون تحفة معمارية ومعلماً حضارياً بارزاً وسط المدينة ، مبيناً أن المشروع يشتمل على مبنى إداري ، ومبنى للمراجعين وقاعة رئيسية للمؤتمرات على شكل قبة بالإضافة إلى كافة المرافق المساندة ومواقف كافية لسيارات الموظفين والمراجعين.
وأبان المهندس المخرج أن الطائف تشهد في الوقت الراهن تنفيذ العديد من المشاريع التنموية الضخمة بالإضافة إلى جملة من المشروعات البلدية التطويرية بمتابعة من صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير خالد الفيصل بن عبد العزيز أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة مؤكداً أن العطاءات المباركة ستلبي احتياجات المدينة السياحية الحالية والمستقبلية بإذن الله تعالى.
