My parents are planning to move to Miami in February 2005, because coinsidently they have both found new jobs there. One of their offices will be located in downtown and my family is trying to find a home within the city limits of Miami, nothing suburban. We live in the suburbs now, and it just doesn't work out. If you have any suggestions, please post. Single family homes and townhomes will be appreciated. Please nothing over 375K, because I know the city limits near attractions can be expensive. Thanks again.

edit: Also, at the minimum 3 bed 3 bath.

i recommend finding something in bellmeade area or miami shores miami shores will run you over 400k but bellmeade will run about 250-300k
both are about 10-15 mins going down biscayne blvd.

Is anybody familiar with the GRAND LAKES neighborhood in Dade County? It seems like they are pretty reasonable. How far is this area from downtown?
