This looks like an awesome Project. With quite a few projects of this scale like the Megapolis and Blueridge in the Hinjewadi area besides the new Cricket stadium, this area will look quite developed and modern in the next 5 years with more than 100 high rises just in this area...

^Yep, there dozens of highrises in these large projects but also a few more in smaller ones. Pune is catching up to the metros in number of highrises.

God !! Are they actually building it ?? They better be! Sorry to sound cautious but after seeing so many excellent projects down the drain, its only fair.

Well this one is already launched, and construction has started on Phase I, so that makes it likely it will be finished. Most of the township/city projects that were scrapped never took off in the first place.

Most of the highrise townships launched in Pune have taken off like the Magarpatta city, Amanora city, Nanded City, Blue Ridge, Megapolis, Khed city, Lavasa, Amby Valley and now Life Republic.

This is supposed to have 7 towers of 22 floors each in the first phase and possibly more towers as we see in the pictures.

Is it just me or does anyone else find living next to 6 lanes of potential traffic a little disconcerting.

BTW. would appreciate if anyone who has booked in this project could share the details of water and power supply facilities as these seem to be a major problem for fringe areas.

Agree with living next to 6 lane traffic, but, consider that this will internal traffic only. The road is going into the township. Still, I wouldn't buy next to this road - need some privacy and also less noise. :)

The Zonal Authority will act as a quasi Municipal Corporation and will work round the clock to ensure all your basic civic needs (such as potable water and electricity all through the year, responsible garbage disposal system) are met on time. "

I believe they have plans to build some kind of a power plant just for the township.

Is it still following the renders? or cut down in height and changed in designs?

No change from original plan at least for 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th Avenues. They appear to be developing at a rather faster pace. Earlier projection for 4th Ave possession was after Dec 2014 - looks like they will deliver 4th, 6th and 7th together sometime in 2014.
