Well, this is now going to be where I will live. 100 metres from COEX. I love the area but what is the living cost like there?

Not so bad. Lots of back-alley eateries in the area.

COEX itself has some very affordable and good restaurants. There's a soon tofu place in the basement of the Korea City Air Terminal - it's called Mister (something)'s Tofu. For 5000 won, you can eat to your heart's delight.

I lived behind posco+ dongbu centre this summer for a couple of months. We rented a one room+kitchen+washroom+veranda place in a villa. It was really expensive but we needed the place for school. There are a lot of good restaurants there but all the employers get drunk there as well :P. With a few exceptions, the restaurants are expensive.

Well, Im finding out that its pretty expensive here. Been shopping that the Hyundai Dept. Store and some of the stuff is pricey. The tofu is more than twice the price it was in Jinju. Geez. But I love the area. Im right off Teheran-ro in a pretty nice and new building. Being on the 21st floor gives me a great view of the #, Lotte Castle and Tower Palace apartment towers. Gotta find some place close thats cheap where I can do grocery shopping. WalMart is a bit far. Oh, and anyone know of a gym that doesnt cost an arm and a leg to join?

When I lived there, we usually shopped at the big Walmart building. We were just like 15 min. away. Do you live in the apartments right behind Posco? I saw them being built last summer.
