Where did you get those pix from? The first 2 look like Richard Roger's proposal for the new Pudong terminal...
The fourth picture reminds me of KLIA. Is the roof pitched? Looks like a traditional Chinese pitched roof.

When is this airport to be finished? In time for the 2008 Olympics? They better rush if that's the case. I flew into Beijing in 1993, and remember it being very relic-y (mint green on the walls, uggh). This was when they were still scary commies, and not the capital-loving nation they are today. Is that the same airport?
