View Full Version : What's your favorite Apple product of all time?
Jan January 22nd, 2012, 10:21 AM I got 5 of them (Macbook, Thunderbolt, iPad, iPhone, iPod nano) and of these I'm going with the iPad. It's just amazing to see how design enabled a whole product range to develop, where previously all pad-shaped devises never took off.
But then again all of these items are just great. The only complain I can think off is that the on/off button of the iPod nano is opposite from the ear phone plug. Because the thing is so compact, you want that on in the middle so you can press it holding it in between two fingers.
sarimanok January 22nd, 2012, 11:02 AM I only have iPod Nano first generation.. It was a gift from a cousin. I like it but my favorite would be iPod Nano's 5th.. And of course the iTunes because it's user friendly!!
here's my nano

808 state January 22nd, 2012, 02:38 PM ^^I had one like that too;) mine was white.
my iPhone;) it's only 3G S but who cares hehe!;)
ZZ-II January 22nd, 2012, 05:07 PM i love my Iphone 4 :D...my favourite Apple product until now :).
i'll buy a iMac this year, antoher great product!
goschio January 22nd, 2012, 10:06 PM ipad2 so far.
Master of Disguise January 23rd, 2012, 11:19 AM I own Macbook Pro , iPhone 4, iPod touch 5th gen...soo in complete love with apple ...love HTC as well/...
BringMe January 23rd, 2012, 08:51 PM One of my favorites is my iPod Classic 6th generation 120 GB My daily friend LOL I can't live without my music!! :D
julesstoop January 24th, 2012, 06:27 PM Hard to say, because I love all my Apple products and have been an Apple user since about 1991, but I think it's my iPad (2).
roe5745 January 24th, 2012, 06:55 PM One of my favorites is my iPod Classic 6th generation 120 GB My daily friend LOL I can't live without my music!! :D
This
krkseg1ops January 24th, 2012, 10:02 PM My favourite one will have to be 'you're holding it wrong'
Vrooms January 25th, 2012, 07:08 AM iPhone 4S
Blackraven January 25th, 2012, 07:51 AM Either Ipad 2 Wifi+3G top-of-the-line or Ipod Touch or Macbook Pro
I would not consider the Iphone 4S just yet.........if I'm still required to buy the unit with a contract from the service provider (Philippines).
That and I'm a bit of a Nokia loyalist when it comes to phones so yeah. Atm, I would still prefer:
Lumia or N9 or N8 or N900 > Iphone
Unless Apple will allow Iphone 4S without contract for the country where I'm from.
xJamaax January 27th, 2012, 09:33 PM Where is the poll?
Anyway, mine is the revolutionary iPhone. The rest of the products seem overrated excluding Macbook Pro.
Apple is going down in few years anyways.
Ni3lS January 28th, 2012, 11:41 PM What makes you think Apple is going down?
iPhone and iPod Classic 160GB. Still saving up money for a Macbook Pro
Yellow Fever January 29th, 2012, 12:21 AM The only apple product I don't have is ipad and not planning to get one either. To me its just a oversize iphone without the phone feature.
SydneyCity January 29th, 2012, 08:41 AM My iPod Classic 160GB. The only old school iPod they still make :)
Dimethyltryptamine January 29th, 2012, 04:58 PM I'd have to say the iPhone is my favourite. Mainly because it goes everywhere with me. A close second would be my MacBook, though in reality, I couldn't imagine my life without any of my Apple devices. They work seemlessly in conjunction with one another.
Quall January 29th, 2012, 07:47 PM I'm not a huge fan of Apple, but I have to admit the iPhone is probably the most solid smartphone out there, despite its software's limitations. I have an iPhone 4 and a 3rd gen iPod Touch.
Maxi_Moscow January 30th, 2012, 01:18 AM Have an iPhone 4s 16gb, iPad 2 3G 16GB, MacBook Pro 13" - love them all.
swerveut January 30th, 2012, 12:07 PM Not a big fan of the iPhone since a lot of the android phones are FAR superior. However, the iPad 2 is just a wonder! It has replaced the computer for me at home for 90% of the time. The applications of this technology are limitless... and the design is simply unbeatable.
Kintoy January 30th, 2012, 01:34 PM iPod nano first gen
Matthieu February 2nd, 2012, 09:46 AM The iMac, the first one.
Shalinidavid February 3rd, 2012, 09:23 AM Hello friends......................^^
My favorite Apple product is iPad 2.:banana::banana:

Matsky February 9th, 2012, 01:53 PM IPad 2 :cheers2:
Mieszko_Gdynia February 10th, 2012, 10:10 PM I personally like the design of early CRT-based iMacs and colourful old iPods nano.
But it's only design. I've never had anything by Apple and I'm not planning to buy anything from them.
BTW iPods have an unacceptable feature - they don't allow uploading music with universal mass storage mode. iPhones don't allow me to install Android. Only Macbook can be acceptable, because it has quite low failure rate and works long on battery.
7t February 13th, 2012, 04:29 AM My all time favorite apple product which also happened to be my 1st was the iPod Mini which I purchased way back in '04 when it first came out.

Matthieu February 13th, 2012, 06:17 PM Not an Apple product proper, I think the AeroDream One by Jarre Technology deserves a mention here.
http://img1.lesnumeriques.com/news/20/20916/jarre-aerodream-one.jpg
It's a dock for Ipods/Iphones/Ipads, it costs a mere 400,000 euros and is only 10,000 watts strong (we're not talking of PMPO watts here, but real ones).
The integrated subwoofer alone is 4,000 watts. The mediums are powered by two amplifiers of 1,600 watts and the higher frequencies have two amplifiers of 1,400 watts.
http://www.jarre.com/aerodream-one-ipod%C2%AE-iphone%C2%AE-dock-speaker
Gallery there, and if you want to order one (and have 400k to put in a dock).
Vaud February 13th, 2012, 06:50 PM for me it's the iPod franchise... it was thanks to them that Apple's living a second successful life after all
until it got stolen I owned an iPod classic 120GB, now I've got the 80GB new iPod touch and I also like it very much ^_^ I use it to watch tv shows and play games appart from listening to music, the screen is absolutely fantastic, I just can't understand how can they put so many pixels in such a small screen, it's extremly sharp!
http://asf-mobiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/White-iPod-touch.jpg
Apart from this, I'm not really a fan of Apple, I still use a windows-powered laptop, I use an old nokia and I don't really see the purpose in ipads
Yellow Fever February 13th, 2012, 07:57 PM I still use a windows-powered laptop, and I don't really see the purpose in ipads
Apple computer is fine but just a little complicated to fix when problems come up. Ipads, as I said in my last post, is just an overisze iphone without the phone feature, until it can be used as a 'real' computer I'd rather keep my pc notebook.
CxIxMaN February 16th, 2012, 12:03 PM I would say the iPad 2 is very hand and convenient for me. Its much lighter than a laptop and easier to use than a netbook. The only thing I regret is that I got the one without 3G and when there is no wifi it is almost useless as most of the apps I have need internet and I use it for mail.
So don't bother getting the only wifi version if you are going to use it out of your house and on the go. save up a little more and get the 3G+wifi.
red_eagle_1982 February 17th, 2012, 09:15 AM Of my Apple devices (Macbook White, MBP Unibody, iPod Video, 1st Gen Shuffle, 1st Gen iPad 3G and my iPhone 4s), my favorite is my 4S!
Mieszko_Gdynia February 20th, 2012, 11:29 PM Macbooks would look nice if they were painted in style of Mondrian or other '5 minutes in Paint' and had no bright logo.
Mondrian and similar pictures make really no sense as a standalone picture in a gallery, but can be a good pattern for design.
julesstoop February 21st, 2012, 01:58 AM No need to ridicule his art, I would say.

Thanks - I didn't know that these pictures are that old.
urbanyte February 21st, 2012, 06:49 AM iPod. All other products have cheaper, more capable alternatives.
Budd Mafersa February 21st, 2012, 04:45 PM It really depends. Back in 2006 or whatever, the iPod Nano was absolutely massive and I'd carry it anywhere - small, thin, with click wheel. But nowadays the iPhone has just changed everything... Not the best, but definitely the coolest IMO. So yeah, it is my current favourite.
PS: Still haven't got an iPad, but I do love it. And I miss the old iMac G3... Macbooks are great as well.
paul.jenny47 March 3rd, 2012, 04:32 AM iPad, iPhone, iPod nano are my all time favourite products...
sasa_taisa March 9th, 2012, 12:54 AM ITT: Apple Fanboys lol
Mr_Dru March 10th, 2012, 10:27 PM I take my iPhone4 and iPad2 always with me.
wkiehl101 March 15th, 2012, 04:22 PM Mine would be the pre-G3 Power Macs. They had character.
Ion Cannon March 16th, 2012, 09:19 AM I have an iPod classic 160GB because I have a hell of alot of music so need something that big. I used to want the iMacG3 when I was growing up, but then I got a comparable PC for less than a third of the cost.
xJamaax March 16th, 2012, 12:17 PM A new iPad is out!
Lydon March 17th, 2012, 11:29 AM I'd have to go with the iPhone 4/iPhone 4S. It really is the perfect shape for a phone in my opinion.
Beto Velez March 22nd, 2012, 02:00 AM Ipad.
Now i cant use my pc HP... I hate wait it to start!
julesstoop March 23rd, 2012, 09:36 PM ^^Mine - I just bought one - doesn't seem to have any problem. The screen is the best I've ever laid my eyes on.
Taller, Better March 24th, 2012, 06:48 AM My favourite apple product of all time is pie with ice cream, but turnovers come a close second!
Man, advertising spammers are attracted to this thread like bees to honey. Just got rid of a whole pile of them.
Heludin May 11th, 2012, 06:16 AM iPhone I would say, since is more than just a gadget in my Apple Products Collection.
iPad is a show off.......I rarely use
iPod is for relaxation therapy
MacBook Air......on the go
iMac 27".... Home based....rarely used as well, why? I preffer my HP Laptop
iPhone in the other hand is a handy piece of tech
karnilla May 11th, 2012, 09:53 PM the iPhone definitely! My life is depended on this gadget. I can't leave home without it.
LukaszWizla May 12th, 2012, 12:40 AM First iMac has quite distinctive design. http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2008/05/06/300_imac2,0.jpg
yabbes May 12th, 2012, 05:40 PM I hate everything Apple makes.
julesstoop May 12th, 2012, 09:27 PM I always wonder why people would 'hate' good industrial design. Were you a Microsoft-hater as well, when they had a virtual monopoly on who runs what software where?
Lydon May 12th, 2012, 10:08 PM I always wonder why people would 'hate' good industrial design. Were you a Microsoft-hater as well, when they had a virtual monopoly on who runs what software where?
Usually because they're intent on "not being a sheep," realising that the majority of the population can't afford an Apple product, and as a result they're actually going with the flow
endymar May 19th, 2012, 01:35 PM Apple Juice. I drink it every day.
master-chivas May 20th, 2012, 03:02 AM My all time favorite apple product which also happened to be my 1st was the iPod Mini which I purchased way back in '04 when it first came out.
http://ak1.ostkcdn.com/images/products/P11643275.jpg

MakaWella May 24th, 2012, 10:13 AM Macbook pro..
fish May 24th, 2012, 05:56 PM Here are my Apple products (so far):
iMac
Airport Extreme Base Station
13" Macbook
Magic Mouse
Magic Trackpad
iPhone 4S
I am saving up for the next generation iMac later this year.
My fav game on the iPhone is "Mirror's Edge".
Look it up -- it's a game with skyscrapers! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y217/mr-fish/Miscellaneous/BigSmile.gif
ZZ-II May 24th, 2012, 07:13 PM Iphone
iMac
Macbook ( Especially macbook air :) )
Black Box May 24th, 2012, 08:43 PM It used to be the iPhone, but I like my MacBook Pro much better. I'm on the fence about getting an iPad. I'm going tablet this year, but I'm waiting to see what Nokia does. I love my Nokia Lumia 900! To end, I love my MBP.
