Nothing much ...

Doesn't look like a big city. So i think the population will probably between 100000 to 200000.

Since it is where i grew up, i think i owe it an 8, simply because the quality of life is great and plus i knew no one else would rate it that high. Colorado Springs is larger than you think. It's metro has grown to be over half a million people. I'm currently living it up in Houston TX right now and don't ever plan on moving back to C-Springs unless i had to, or maybe when i get old and crusty. If i was to move back to Colorado, Denver it would be!

I also grew up in Colorado Springs, and fled to Denver... 500,000 metro is being a little too generous... bring it a little under 500,000. those buildings are 15 stories... which is about as tall as you can go because of very strict height restrictions. It is known as a conservative Christian center, and the conservative heart of Colorado. The quality of life is okay if you agree with that lifestyle, otherwise Colorado Springs is not a very accepting place. The city is extremely spread out, and traffic is horrible for a city its size. But its proximity to the mountains makes it an overall nice place to live. Economically it is very much stuck in Denver's shadow. All in all, my hometown gets a 4, since this is a *city* and *skyscraper* forum.

Cities of 100,000 people have better skylines than that. 3/10.

5/10, mainly for the brownish building.

Colorado Springs? What the f@#^ ever! I used to
live here when my dad was stationed at Ft. Carson
(a U.S. Army base located on the southern side of the
of the city-for those of you not in the know), and this
has to be the lamest city for it's size in the continental
U.S.(2005 est. 381,344 in city, 502,008 in metro./El
Paso County). The only reason the city is as big as it is
now is because of Ft. Carson, USAF Academy, Peterson
AFB and it's close proximity to Pikes Peak- albeit the city
is situated in a very nice area. It's ultra-conservative,the
locals can't drive to save their own asses, and the women
suck in bed. If you ever think of moving to Colorado, go
to Denver(which ain't all it's cracked up to be either) or
Pueblo-stay the phluck away from 'the Springs'!And as for
the skyline....what skyline?

Kinda reminds me of Yellowknife. But considering the size of this metro apparently nearing
half a million (which is surprising to me), I'll give it a 3.5/10. The .5 is only because of the setting though.
