I started a new thread about the beautiful and unkown mountain region of Paiko. I would love to show you a beautiful but often forgotten region of Greece. Mainly people from Thessaloniki and other towns such as Kilkis or Veria know that place.:) Now some basic information:
Mount Paiko is a small mountain range that lies on the border of Pella and Kilkis prefectures in Macedonia, Greece. East and south of Paiko is the Axios river and the plains of Giannitsa. It is a medium-sized mountain range with the highest mountains reaching 1,650 metres. Paiko features vast forests consisting mainly of walnut, chestnut and oak trees. All together Paiko is a different side of Greece, an unknown face.
Everyone who has pictures of this region is welcomed to pose them.
